Everything good comes to an end…

The positive things that have happened to me over the past year are, I was able to purchase a wheelchair accessible vehicle for my youngest son who is severely disabled that also fit my husband and I as well as our other 2 boys… AND… we bought a fifth wheel camper that was big enough to be our owned home to house us all and we have our own beds/space! But all good things come to an end. A tragic accident occurred with our vehicle where something I thought to be impossible happened and it was totaled. We were loading up to go somewhere and all the kids were strapped in their seats and the car was on for a/c as it was a very hot summer day… and I left the vehicle to get something and our dogs somehow were able to coordinate in the front seat and knock it out of gear and crashed it into a nearby camper with our babies inside. Thankfully no one was hurt (including the dogs) but the car was completely wrecked beyond repair. And with a camper, it is sufficient but has a few repairs needed on it from the beginning and we spent all of the small inheritance check we got on the car/camper and there was nothing left to handle those and now we’re managing around them. So it just proves as an adult, there’s always something. We now have a fundraiser to help attain the down payment for a new vehicle (not accessible as that’s too pricey) so my husband can pick work back up and we get on our feet and save for repairs… but it’s not taking off. So stuck we reman. Joys of life, huh?
