Emmarie’s Perseverance

“Hello, 49. Can we get your name?”

“I I’m Emmarie. Emmarie Vette Hilton.”, she started off nervously but ended with confidence.

“ Well, Emmarie Vette Hilton. We’re auditioning for the roles of Sadie and Jenna in the upcoming film “See Me”. Sadie is a traumatized young woman who gets dragged down the path of drugs, sex trafficking, and a multitude of abuse by her long time best friend Jenna and finds her way out through the grace of God and her own perseverance. Jenna is a troubled and dangerous young woman who gets off on taking risks and chasing adrenaline rushes and dies stuck in the life Sadie escapes. Which part are you interested in playing?”

“Definitely Sadie. I have been spending much of my time embodying her and becoming what I envision her to be. And I hope my views align with yours. And I kill this audition.”, Emmarie says with a nervous giggle.

“Well, let’s see what you got. Please act scene 3 from page 23 of the script…”
